Starman Promoted at Mutual of Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. – Jan Starman has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Mutual of Omaha. She oversees and leads enterprise-wide Human Resources functions that support the achievement of strategic business objectives in attracting, engaging, rewarding, developing and keeping a talented and diverse workforce. 

Starman joined Mutual in 1998 as a Human Resources Consultant. She has served in various roles in human resources supporting the Enterprise and its affiliates such as Mutual of Omaha Bank and Mutual of Omaha Mortgage. Before joining Mutual, Starman was a Market Research Consultant at American Business Information, a Proposal Coordinator at Southwest Laboratory of Oklahoma and an HR Project Manager at SITEL. 

Starman earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Creighton University. She is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Society for Human Resources Management–Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
