Mutual of Omaha Names Matt Prescott Vice President of Corporate Tax

OMAHA, Neb. – Mutual of Omaha has named Matt Prescott Vice President of Corporate Tax. He oversees all aspects of the company’s tax function, including compliance, strategic tax planning and financial reporting.

Prescott joined Mutual of Omaha in 2026. Before joining Mutual, he spent 10 years at Security Benefit Corporation, where he held several tax leadership positions, most recently serving as assistant vice president of tax. He previously held tax and financial positions with Guggenheim Partners, DST Systems and Grant Thornton.

Prescott earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Kansas. He is a certified public accountant.
