Mutual of Omaha Names Jennifer Ju Vice President and Medical Director of Workplace Solutions

OMAHA, Neb. – Mutual of Omaha has named Jennifer Ju, M.D., Vice President and Medical Director in Workplace Solutions.  She leads medical review operations supporting claims. Her responsibilities include improving workflows and outcomes, helping shape medical policy, overseeing complex case reviews and guiding decisions that support risk management and claims outcomes.

Ju brings more than two decades of experience in clinical practice, insurance medicine and physician leadership. Before joining Mutual of Omaha, she served as a medical consultant at Unum from 2019 to 2026, where she served on the medical steering board and led physician training, mentoring and development. Earlier in her career, she owned and practiced at Family Health and Wellness Center of Bridgeport and served as a family medicine physician at Community Health Center of Meriden.

Ju completed a family medicine residency at Brown University. She earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and her bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University through the Penn State/Jefferson six-year combined BS/MD program.

Board-certified in family medicine, Ju has been a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine since 2000.
