Smith Appointed at Mutual of Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. – Liz Smith has been appointed Associate General Counsel at Mutual of Omaha. She provides legal guidance and expertise related to general contracting and corporate transactions.  

Smith joined Mutual in February 2024 as Associate General Counsel. Before joining Mutual, she was Vice President of Legal and Compliance at Dundee Bank. Her legal career also includes roles as an Attorney at McGrath North Mullin & Kratz and Engles Ketcham Olson & Keith. Before that, Smith was a Judicial Clerk for the Fourth Judicial District of Iowa.  

Smith earned a bachelor’s degree from Saint Louis University and a juris doctorate from the Saint Louis University School of Law. She is a Sustainer Member of the Junior League of Omaha.
