OMAHA, Neb. – Mutual of Omaha has promoted Melanie Patton to vice president of institutional sales and strategy at Mutual of Omaha, where she leads product growth strategies for the company’s Institutional Annuity and Institutional Investment businesses. She oversees institutional annuity sales, client services and product underwriting, helping drive growth and advance strategic initiatives across Institutional Solutions.

Patton joined Mutual of Omaha in 1996 and has held several leadership roles of increasing responsibility.

Patton earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha, a Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and an MBA from the University of Nebraska Omaha.
