Duff Appointed at Mutual of Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. – Jim Duff has been appointed Senior Vice President of Brokerage Sales at Mutual of Omaha. He leads the Brokerage Sales Team and handles the sales teams supporting Life, Long-Term Care, Accidental Death, Critical Advantage, Disability and Annuities and business distribution. 

Duff joined Mutual in January 2024 as the Senior Vice President of Brokerage Sales with more than 35 years of experience in the insurance industry. Before joining Mutual, Duff was President of Tellus Brokerage Connections (a Crump company) and Senior Vice President of Crump Solution Centers, where he built one of the industry’s top producing distribution organizations while providing leadership for Crump’s Solution Centers for Annuities, Long-Term Care and Disability Insurance Sales.  

Before that, Duff was a Senior Vice President at Transamerica Life Insurance Company responsible for distribution and sales through a network of brokerage agencies and affiliated producers. In the early years of his career, after gaining his start at a career mutual company, Duff joined his family-owned Brokerage General Agency, which he ultimately acquired and merged with a regional broker dealer. 

Duff earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond.
