Skar Promoted at Mutual of Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. (July 11, 2023) – A.J. Skar has been promoted to Senior Vice President of the Advisor Network at Mutual of Omaha. He ensures the advisor network distribution channel continues to be a significant contributor to Mutual’s mission of helping our customers protect what they care about and achieve their financial goals.   

Skar joined Mutual in 1999 as a Regional Training Consultant in Agency Sales. He has held several positions in Agency Sales, most recently being Vice President and National Sales Manager. Before Mutual, Skar was an Operations Consultant at Kirkpatrick Pettis. Before that, he was an Agent and Registered Representative with Northwestern Mutual.  

Skar earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha.
