Sinnett Promoted at Mutual of Omaha 

OMAHA, Neb. – Nancy Sinnett has been promoted to Vice President of Corporate Accounting at Mutual of Omaha. She oversees five Finance and Accounting teams, handling Investment Accounting, Accounts Payable, Group Policy Reporting, Cash Receipts, Compliance and Regulatory Reporting. Her responsibilities involve preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial statements, analyzing financial data to offer insights and recommendations to senior management for improved decision-making and operational excellence. Additionally, she ensures the company complies with legal and regulatory requirements, including tax laws and reporting standards. 

Sinnett joined Mutual in 1995 as a Financial Analyst and has held various roles in Finance supporting the Enterprise. She briefly left Mutual to work at Lincoln Financial Group, where she most recently served as Assistant Vice President, Group Protection Expense, Tax & Compensation Analysis.  

Sinnett earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
