Fichter Promoted at Mutual of Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. – Mutual of Omaha has promoted Jamie Fichter to vice president of enterprise technology services.

In this role, Fichter leads the groups that manage core IT infrastructure, including cloud platforms, data centers, networks, servers, storage, enterprise tools and end-user computing. His organization ensures that Mutual of Omaha maintains a stable, secure, and scalable technology environment to support business growth and operational reliability.

Fichter joined Mutual in 2019 as a business systems architect and was promoted to information services director in 2020. Before joining Mutual, he served as a vice president at West Corporation and an engineer at MCI WorldCom.

He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha.
