Bennett Appointed at Mutual of Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. – Mutual of Omaha has appointed Angel Bennett vice president of absence in workplace solutions claims. Bennett oversees Mutual’s Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) solutions with a vendor partner, its Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) solutions, and supports technological solutions to provide these programs to customers.

Bennett brings more than 20 years of experience in absence and disability management, including 13 years in management and six years as assistant vice president at Unum. She has led large teams and driven operational excellence across a broad portfolio of leave and disability programs.

Bennett earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She holds Associate, Customer Service and Associate, Life and Health Claims certifications.
