Belanger Appointed at Mutual of Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. – Beth Belanger has been appointed Vice President and Medical Director of Workplace Solutions at Mutual of Omaha. She offers medical expertise across various products, such as short-term, long-term, and individual disability insurance.   

Belanger began her tenure at Mutual in April 2024, as Vice President and Medical Director of Workplace Solutions. Before this, she served as a Medical Consultant at Unum Group. Her medical career includes roles as Physician File Review Consultant at Mednick Associates, Primary Care Physician and Outpatient Infectious Diseases Specialist at The Portland Clinic, Infectious Diseases Fellow at the Oregon Health & Sciences University, and Chief Internal Resident at the Maine Medical Center.   

Belanger earned a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and a medical doctorate from the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine. She is certified in Internal Medicine/Infectious Diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
