During a moment of reflection the other day, I found myself thinking back to where we were one year ago … and how much has changed. Thinking back, I can’t recall another year like 2020. But the great thing about a new year is that after a long winter, there’s always a spring.
And while we haven’t fully turned the corner on fighting the pandemic, there is hope. As of this writing, the United States is administering 1.66 million vaccinations a day, with some projections estimating 90% of the population will be vaccinated by late July.
What a difference a year makes.
Looking out my kitchen window, admiring my neighbor’s daffodils I’m reminded of a quote from Lady Bird Johnson, “Where flowers bloom, so does hope.”

Stay safe, Dr. Manoj Pawar Chief Medical Officer
