Mutual of Omaha is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Special Risk team as a Client Service Representative. In this role, you will play a vital part in contributing to the retention of Special Risk customers through dedicated client service. Your responsibilities will involve performing a variety of complex and sensitive policyowner service functions, ensuring efficient, effective, and high-quality customer service for policyholders, brokers, and providers.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Hourly Pay: $23.25-28.00, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Understand questions from Policyholders, Brokers, and Providers about implementation, enrollment, and billing, and provide clear, accurate answers by researching and resolving issues.
  • Review submitted information and contact Policyholders or Brokers when details are missing or unclear to make sure requests are handled correctly.
  • Explain benefits eligibility and business processes to Policyholders and Brokers to help them understand and navigate services.
  • Handle complaints or errors professionally, turning issues into positive experiences through strong customer service.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to build positive relationships and support department goals.

  • Demonstrated empathy and a strong customer service mindset, with the ability to understand customer needs and deliver supportive, solutions-oriented experiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment, with the ability to make well-reasoned decisions and provide high-quality, thorough customer service.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing customer needs.

  • Ability to work at our home office located in Omaha, Nebraska, in a hybrid environment.
