Fair Chance Ordinance

While Mutual of Omaha is prohibited from employing any individual who has been convicted of any criminal felony involving dishonesty or a breach of trust without prior written consent from the state Department of Insurance (18 U.S.C. Section 1033), it will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in accordance with the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, Philadelphia’s Fair Chance Law, or other applicable law. Mutual of Omaha will perform an individualized assessment based on an applicant’s record and the duties and requirement of the specific job.
