As a Business Systems Analyst, you’ll ensure a seamless user experience and efficient system functionality. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective solutions for group claims insurance operations. You'll optimize workflows by leveraging your knowledge of claims while ensuring compliance and efficiency. Your expertise will drive system improvements that enhance productivity and user satisfaction, directly impacting our organization’s ability to deliver exceptional service and operational efficiency. 

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications):   
    • Business Systems Analyst II: $57,500 - $68,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.   
    • Business Systems Analyst III: $66,500 - $80,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Create documentation throughout the project lifecycle including taking concise meeting notes, assisting in gathering and analyzing requirements, and assisting with implementation.   
  • Build your understanding of the department’s business processes, compliance, and workflows and apply that knowledge to your daily activities. May include administrative and production support.   
  • Assist with creation of test plans, test scripts, and perform manual or automated testing for enhancements, upgrades and on-going maintenance to ensure that business, technical, and functional requirements are being met.   
  • Communicate and present information effectively, both through written communications and verbally.   
  • You will have the opportunity to broaden your knowledge of Workplace Solutions, work with diverse teams, and have exposure to leadership. 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, or similar capacities.   
  • Understanding of the business and technical processes needed to meet/exceed business objectives, including familiarity with Agile/Scrum.   
  • Exposure to business analysis/project management techniques, processes and tools.   
  • Ability to organize and deliver tasks and projects in a timely manner.  
  • Detail-oriented, clear communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.  

PREFERRED:

  • Disability or other type of Insurance Claims handling experience working in FINEOS 
  • Prior experience working with Mutual of Omaha’s Workplace Solutions systems and business processes. 
  • Experience writing business and technical requirements to guide code changes.   
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK), Data Management Book of Knowledge (DMBOK)
