WILD KINGDOM AT THE 134TH ROSE PARADE

Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom was proud to participate in the 134th Rose Parade. Our float featured animals from our new series, Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Protecting the Wild, including the stars of our premiere episode, two bear cubs that were rescued from a wildfire, rehabilitated and released. Some float stats include:

• 55 feet long
• 23 feet high
• Weighs 14,000 pounds
• More than 18,000 hours for volunteers to decorate
• Features a real waterfall with running water

This year, we’re honored to share that our float won the Isabella Coleman Award for the most outstanding presentation of color and color harmony through floral design.
