SOCIAL MEDIA COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
Welcome to the Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom community. We know that the wildlife conservation space is only successful when everyone is involved. With that, we encourage individuals to engage with our social media pages and other community members, ask questions, share and discuss ideas. We strive to foster a respectful and welcoming space for everyone, and to create such space, we have the following guidelines:
We value you and want to hear your voice. Community members are encouraged to connect with Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom and others in a kind and respectful manner. While we understand that not everyone can agree all the time, only respectful discourse will be tolerated, and Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom reserves the right to determine whether an engagement meets those standards. Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom reserves the right to remove any posts that do not adhere to our community standards and to ban anyone who violates them. This includes but is not limited to any comments towards other community members, the show hosts, guest content, or the Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom brand. Posts not tolerated include but are not limited to:
- Harassment, abusive or discriminatory language or threats
- Defamatory, offensive, indecent or vulgar language
- Hateful language, including that towards race/ethnicity, nationality, citizenship, age, color, creed, religion, gender, sexual preference, sexual orientation or beliefs
- Sexually explicit adult content or pornographic references not suitable for family viewing
- Deceptive and fraudulent behavior such as spamming
- Criminal or illegal activity
- Coordinated individual or group attacks
- Solicitations of any kind
In order to maintain our welcoming space, Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom reserves the right to remove any posts for any reason, including those posts that may violate our community standards. We also do not represent that your post will be available at all times.
Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom reserves the right to ban anyone who violates these guidelines.
Any users found sending spam messages to other community members will be banned from the page and their comments and posts will be removed.
Content Posted by Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom
All content posted by Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom is the property of Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom or we have been given explicit permission to post and credit to the content owner via the post copy. You may not duplicate our posts or post anything as your own.
All Wild Kingdom social communities are public spaces. Understand that anything you comment, post or share can be seen by other members of the community. Please do not post sensitive personal and confidential information to our community pages that may further identify you or anyone else, including but not limited to your address or phone number.
Additionally, please do not post content that belongs to others or that is protected by the intellectual property laws unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents.
Because these pages are on a public domain, any information or ideas posted by community members is therefor considered public knowledge and can be used by Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom or other community members, including but not limited to advertisement copy, episode ideas and general page content.
Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom is not responsible for any links to third-party website posted by us or another community member nor are we responsible for the content on such links.
Mutual of Omaha Employees
Employees participating in discussion in our social media community are reminded of Mutual of Omaha’s social media policy, found on Associate Access.
Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom reserves the right to alter these guidelines at any time. We reserve the right to change or deny access to the content on our pages and are not responsible for the results of those actions.
