Director Field & Producer Relations

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Lead producer oversight and field relations activities, translating business, compliance, and risk priorities into clear processes, service expectations, and action plans for assigned distribution channels.
• Oversee the identification, assessment, documentation, and resolution of producer conduct concerns, sales practice issues, fraud, and emerging risks—including AI-enabled fraud, misrepresentation, identity manipulation, and misuse of technology.
• Evaluate and escalate complex or high-risk producer matters, partnering with Legal, Compliance, Distribution Leadership, and Investigations to support consistent decisions and appropriate corrective actions, restrictions, or termination of producer relationships.
• Lead initiatives that strengthen producer accountability and field relationships, including improvements to policies, workflows, reporting, training, communications, and issue-resolution practices.
• Lead and develop the Field Relations team while overseeing monitoring, reporting, and analytics that identify trends, emerging risks, and opportunities to improve producer oversight and compliance.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

• 8+ years of experience in insurance distribution, field relations, compliance, investigations, producer oversight, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of insurance sales practices, producer conduct expectations, regulatory requirements, and risk management principles.
• Demonstrated ability to assess complex and sensitive producer matters, conduct thorough reviews, manage escalations, and apply sound judgment and consistent documentation practices.
• Experience identifying and mitigating fraud, misconduct, and emerging risks, including AI-enabled fraud and misuse of technology.
• Experience leading teams or complex processes and collaborating across functions to implement controls, improve processes, and resolve issues consistently.
• You promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
• Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
• Able to travel approximately 50% annually.

PREFERRED:

• Experience working directly with insurance distribution channels, producers, agents, or field leadership.
• Experience developing producer oversight programs, risk monitoring, reporting, or analytics.
• Experience leading change and process improvement initiatives in a highly regulated environment.
