Business Systems Analyst

  • Business Systems Analyst II: $59,800 - $76,180, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Business Systems Analyst III: $68,000 - $87,500, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Partner with underwriting, operations, technology, and business stakeholders to understand business needs, identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve processes and the customer experience. 
• Research and analyze operational challenges by gathering information, evaluating data, identifying trends and root causes, and recommending practical solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness. 
• Develop recurring and ad hoc reports and presentations using Excel and other reporting tools to communicate operational performance, opportunities, risks, and insights that support business decisions. 
• Support business operations and key initiatives, including access management, vendor partnerships, testing, implementation activities, issue resolution, process documentation, and other cross-functional projects. 
• Build strong relationships and drive continuous improvement by collaborating with internal and external partners, identifying inefficiencies, supporting process changes, and exploring opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and AI-enabled solutions. 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research an issue, ask thoughtful questions, analyze information, and develop practical solutions. 
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze information, identify trends, and support reporting or decision-making. 
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to listen, collaborate, and effectively communicate with teammates, business partners, vendors, and other stakeholders. 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and follow through on commitments. 
• Curiosity, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset, with a willingness to learn new systems and processes, take on new challenges, and look for ways to make work more efficient and effective. 
• You promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
• Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

• Experience supporting business operations, process improvement, project coordination, reporting, data analysis, or other analytical work, including experience with dashboards, reporting tools, or data visualization. 
• Experience coordinating tasks, documenting processes, testing system or process changes, supporting implementations, or working with vendors and cross-functional stakeholders. 
• Familiarity with insurance, financial services, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
