In this role, you’ll keep our systems running smoothly, define testing strategies and test plans, and execute test plans. WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications) 
    • Business Systems Analyst II: $59,800-$77,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
    • Business Systems Analyst  III: $68,000-$88,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Analyze business processes and requirements to identify solutions that improve efficiency and support business objectives.
  • Partner with development teams and stakeholders to deliver system enhancements from requirements through implementation.
  • Lead system testing activities, including test planning, execution, validation, and stakeholder demonstrations to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve problems and minimize business disruption.
  • Create and maintain system documentation while serving as a subject matter expert on supported technologies and business applications.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Solid business analysis skills with 5 + years of proven experience gathering requirements, analyzing workflows, and supporting system or process changes.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to speak up, influence decisions, and build relationships across teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment—skilled at prioritizing, problem-solving, and driving results.
  • Experience with Agile, SDLC, or similar methodologies.
  • Strong skills in process mapping, event driven architecture, and understanding complex system integrations. 
  • You promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to travel occasionally (approximately 5–10% annually) to attend events and in-person meetings (travel reimbursed).

PREFERRED:

  • Insurance industry knowledge (life, health, annuities, or pensions).
  • Experience with business analysis and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, qTest, Postman, SQL, MuleSoft, AWS, ServiceNow, diagramming tools such as Visio, and AI-enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT-style tools. Familiarity with API testing, data validation, system integrations, production support.
