Seeking a vigilant Security Guard to protect employees, visitors, contractors, and company assets by preventing unauthorized access, patrolling premises, issuing ID credentials, and responding quickly to safety hazards, security incidents, and emergencies. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, secure, and well-managed environment across all facilities and grounds.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Hourly Wage: $20.00 - $21.00, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Control facility access by verifying IDs, logging entries, and using visitor management systems
  • Patrol buildings and grounds to monitor for hazards, intrusions, theft, and safety issues
  • Conduct safety checks on equipment, secure doors, and report maintenance or security concerns
  • Perform mobile patrols, enforce parking rules, respond to alarms, and coordinate with security control
  • Provide escort services, assist in emergencies, support visitors, and handle additional operational duties

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Knowledge of security procedures, safety systems, and risk areas for theft, vandalism, and equipment issues
  • Ability to operate security tools and equipment, including vehicles, radios, scanners, and fire extinguishers
  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills with a professional demeanor
  • Capable of handling emergencies and high-stress situations; must maintain CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications
  • Physically able to stand, walk, and lift as needed; valid driver’s license required and availability for 24/7 coverage, including emergencies and overtime

  • Ability to work at our home office located in Omaha, Nebraska.

PREFERRED:

  • Knowledge of visitor parking lot procedures.
