Mutual of Omaha’s Information Services (I/S) Governance Program works to enable more effective, efficient, and secure management of IT resources across our enterprise.

Project Manager I: $95,000 - $115,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
-
Serve as an IT Project Manager overseeing cross-functional teams and ensuring successful project execution in an Agile environment. You will help develop project charters, facilitate project planning, and provide reporting / visualization for a wide variety of efforts.

Serve as the Program’s Scrum Master, facilitating day-to-day work coordination, prioritization, and removal of impediments for the team. Facilitate SAFe planning exercises and dependency management for the Program.

Represent Governance Program projects and initiatives to stakeholders and business partners. Provide summarized views to large groups or governance bodies and respond to questions.

Build strong relationships with product owners, solution leads, stakeholders, assurance partners, project team members, and senior leadership.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
-
5+ years of experience leading initiatives in enterprise environments as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, or project lead.

2+ years of Project Management experience in IT including project planning, execution / solution delivery, reporting, and problem resolution. Experience with SAFe and JIRA preferred but not required.

Foundational understanding of how enterprise-scale technology departments are organized, preferably in financial services organizations or other highly regulated industries. This role will frequently partner with information security, data management, enterprise architecture, technology operations, cloud computing, software development, audit, and risk teams. You do not need to be an expert in everything but being well-rounded is beneficial.

Strong communication, documentation, and reporting skills at both tactical and strategic levels. This role will regularly interface with senior/executive leaders and strong candidates will possess the ability to cater communication to the audience.

Ability to manage work across divisions, governance domains and assurance functions. Proven ability to influence without authority, align stakeholders across technical and non-technical disciplines, and facilitate decision-making in support of Program goals.

Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
PREFERRED:

Prior project experience in information security, compliance, audit, or enterprise risk management. Experience working with or implementing GRC tools/platforms a plus.

Strong understanding of technology governance or cybersecurity frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, and NIST CSF.
-
PMI, SAFe, ISACA, SANS, or ISC2 certifications.
