As Manager, Business Systems, you’ll lead a high-impact Underwriting Operations team focused on driving innovation and efficiency across Individual Underwriting. You’ll oversee vendor relationships, rules maintenance for automated underwriting, daily operations, budgeting, business resiliency, and process improvements—while playing a key role in piloting new ideas and supporting strategic projects.

  • Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $146,000 plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead a team supporting key business systems and processes for our Individual Underwriting department.
  • Oversee process improvement and operational excellence, project execution, pilots and innovations, automated underwriting rules program, vendor management program and support of daily operations.
  • Develop talent and foster a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with business and technology partners to solve problems and deliver solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Background in project/program management, business analysis or consulting.
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work across teams to influence and implement change.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Previous people leadership experience.
  • Experience in financial services or insurance.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, ADKAR, and business analysis frameworks (IIBA, BABOK, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
