As an Account Executive, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our sales activities. You'll be responsible for nurturing relationships with distribution channel representatives and coordinating their activities to meet performance standards and profit goals. Additionally, you'll provide guidance on marketing our products and ensure efficient management of business travel expenses within budget.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary: $51,000 - $55,000 plus commission. 
  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Generate profitable premium income by actively engaging with distribution channel representatives through outbound sales calls and explaining product features and benefits.
  • Assist in event planning and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate and monitor distribution channel activities to ensure performance standards and profit goals are met, managing travel and entertainment expenses within budget.
  • Provide service and support to distribution channels, including developing presentations, training, responding to inquiries, and negotiating changes.
  • Act as a consultant to distribution channel representatives, assisting in case design for clients and staying updated on Mutual of Omaha's and United of Omaha's products and services.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Must be able to adhere to regular business hours within the Central time zone.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in insurance sales with knowledge of diverse distribution channels; active life insurance license required.
  • Possess initiative, negotiation skills and strong organizational abilities, coupled with excellent relationship building and communication skills.
  • Customer focus including experience fostering strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring effective collaboration with all levels of the organization.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
