The Senior Business Auditor will perform operational and compliance audits and advisory engagements providing strategic insights that drive operational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by identifying risks, improving processes, and ensuring the achievement of organizational goals.

  • Estimated Salary: $74,000 - $95,500 plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Perform Operational and Compliance Audits: Plan, conduct, and report results of audits with the appropriate level of independence in alignment with professional standards and organizational objectives.
  • Participate in Advisory and Consulting Engagements: Participate in advisory and consulting engagements proactively working with business partners to mitigate risks and providing insights on control enhancements.
  • Analyze and Assess Risks: Use your business and business acumen to identify and evaluate key risks and controls across processes.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage tools like SQL, Snowflake, and Power BI to gather, analyze, and interpret data, to support audit objectives and provide value-add insights to management.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership in planning and executing audit engagements and promote collaboration within the audit team and business stakeholders to ensure thorough, risk-focused assessments and clear communication of results.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify innovative opportunities and support process enhancements within the Audit/Aligned Assurance function and business areas.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 4+ years of internal audit experience, with a level of operational and/or compliance audit experience.
  • Professional certification such as the CIA, CISA, or CPA
  • Critical thinking skills with a desire to learn complex subject areas.
  • Experience with analytic tools such as SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, and visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Working knowledge of the COSO framework, risk assessment techniques, and internal controls.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present audit results.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.  Strong preference will be given to those candidates who currently reside within a commutable distance to our home office in Omaha NE, to allow for occasional time in-office.
