As our Sales Manager, you’ll build and grow strong relationships with brokerage partners by developing, negotiating, and executing strategic marketing plans that drive results. You’ll play a key role in shaping business outcomes through thoughtful collaboration and impactful action planning.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Strategic Relationship Building: Develop and nurture positive relationships with brokerage distribution agencies, ensuring seamless collaboration across various home office divisions. Proactively identify and resolve challenges within distribution arrangements, showcasing your problem-solving skills and commitment to success.
  • Innovative Marketing Impact:  Drive business results by crafting, negotiating, and implementing impactful marketing and activity action plans for brokerage distribution relationships.  Your strategic approach will not only define objectives but also ensure the effective documentation of plans, setting the stage for tangible business outcomes.
  • Analytical Travel Planning:  Take charge of travel plans aligned with clients' business goals, providing insightful analysis and comprehensive trip summary reports.  Efficiently manage and report on allocated budgets for travel and entertainment expenses, showcasing your ability to balance strategic objectives with fiscal responsibility.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:  Coordinate sales efforts across multiple home office functions, ensuring commitments in brokerage distribution arrangements are delivered.  Lead training activities and product sales seminars for brokerage distribution hierarchy, collaborating with departments such as Actuarial, Information Services, Customer Service, and Law to ensure seamless execution.
  • Market Expertise and Adaptability:  Stay at the forefront of industry shifts and changes related to product, compliance, and carriers.  Provide valuable input on the strategic direction of brokerage distribution arrangements, making recommendations to adapt to evolving marketplace demands.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 2+ years’ experience in sales and servicing producers or agencies within the financial industry.
  • Proven sales success and thorough experience in the life, health and annuity insurance industry.
  • Thorough understanding of and proven experience with various brokerage distribution channels.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, persuasion, presentation & training skills.
  • Ability to transform information into action plans.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico. Must be open to up to 75% travel.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience within the simplified issue brokerage distribution channel.
  • Proficient with MS Office, Salesforce, Zoom, Allego, and Tableau as well as experience with e-application tools and technology.
  • High-level understanding of data feeds and other operational tools specific to the brokerage distribution channel. 
  • Securities registration, Series 6 & 63 preferred.
