As an Actuary, you'll provide advanced financial analysis and actuarial support for our life insurance product portfolio. This role contributes directly to financial performance and strategic planning, and indirectly supports product development and other product initiatives.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications): 
    • Actuary: $134,000 - $171,000 plus annual bonus opportunity.
    • Sr. Actuary:  $142,000 - $180,000 plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Analyze financial and non-financial data to guide product decisions.
  • Lead actuarial projects related to financial projections, actual-to-expected analysis, and experience studies.
  • Support product development with financial projections and scenario analysis.
  • Monitor and explain product performance, including risk and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide actuarial expertise.
  • May mentor or lead junior actuarial staff.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Attainment of the Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation.
  • Strong background in actuarial science, statistics, math, or a related field.
  • Proven experience analyzing financial results and developing actuarial models.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience with Universal Life products.
  • AXIS modeling experience.
  • Background in financial results analysis and performance monitoring.
