The Policyowner Services Life Department has an immediate opening for a Supervisor position. The individual in this role performs supervisory functions in Policyowner Services, which involve coaching, planning, staffing, directing, developing, and ensuring efficient operations. They are responsible for creating and sustaining a positive and equitable work environment focused on customer satisfaction. The role includes direct responsibility for developing frontline associates and being accountable for business results, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, guidelines, and laws. This position will work the 8:30-5:00 shift. Must be able to work the closing shift on occasion. Apply today!

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary: $66,500 - $90, plus annual bonus opportunity. 
  • Base Salary: Minimum: $66,500 MidPoint: $86,000 Maximum: $105,500, plus commission.
  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • The individual demonstrates strong leadership in talent, visionary, and business areas, overseeing Policyowner Services and actively participating in human resource management, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
  • Specializing in project leadership, the person is involved in budget planning, management, and reconciliation, emphasizing risk strategy implementation to optimize operations while maintaining financial viability.
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate policies, the individual evaluates daily activities and addresses new legislation, mandates, and legal requirements, taking corrective action to enhance existing processes and maintain adherence to guidelines.
  • Collaborating extensively, the leader builds and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders, particularly in collaboration with Underwriting & Claims departments to develop risk-related policies and procedures.  
  • With a focus on Operational Excellence, the individual analyzes trends, gathers customer feedback, and initiates projects for improving customer and associate satisfaction, corporate profitability, and risk mitigation, overseeing daily management and process simplification within the department.

  • Demonstrated skills in management, analytics, decision-making, communication, and human relations.  
  • Strong leadership qualities, enabling them to independently drive results, collaborate effectively, and influence others. 
  • The ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects is a notable strength, coupled with sound and independent judgment that extends beyond existing barriers. Comfortable with ambiguity, the person demonstrates resiliency and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Knowledge and adherence to corporate policies, philosophies, and objectives, drawing from a seasoned insurance background and comprehensive knowledge of the company's products, distributions, processes, risk, and control environment.
  • Proficient in utilizing various computer systems simultaneously, including web tools, policy administration systems, and Microsoft products.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Ability to learn and work remotely
  • Previous call center skills/experience
  • Previous insurance experience
  • Customer Service experience
