For Martin Hill, a finance student at Creighton University, an internship at Mutual of Omaha offered the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while exploring different career paths within financial services. Hill said he enjoys applying what he learns in the classroom to real-world situations and developing new skills in a professional environment.
Innovative work
Hill currently serves on the Data Strategy team. Hill works on projects that help transform complex financial data into meaningful business insights.
One of his primary responsibilities includes developing dashboards that organize data into executive-ready reports.
He's also contributed to projects focused on artificial intelligence and data modernization, giving him exposure to emerging technologies and their role in business decision-making.
“It’s all keeping me on my toes, but I’m really learning a lot,” Hill said.

As he prepares for his senior year, Hill is gaining valuable experience, building professional connections and developing skills that will help shape his future career in finance.
