Join Peter and Dr. Rae on an awe-inspiring trip to the bat capital of the world, where they witness the nightly mass emergence of 20 million Mexican free-tail bats. Peter joins bat rescue experts who are helping to get these little creatures back on their wings. Dr. Rae heads deep underground to help vaccinate bats against a disease that is wreaking havoc on the species. Finally, Peter and Dr. Rae help release rehabilitated bats back to their own kind on Congress Bridge in Austin, Texas.
