In this role, you’ll spend your day connecting with brokers and clients, identifying new sales opportunities, developing proposals, and guiding groups through enrollment while strengthening existing relationships. You’ll also collaborate internally to align on strategy, stay informed on market trends, and ensure solutions meet client needs. Your work directly drives revenue growth, expands our market presence, and enhances client retention—making you a key contributor to the organization’s long-term success.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Base Salary: $70,000 plus Sales Incentive Plan.   
  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Identify, prioritize, and manage sales opportunities with current and prospective clients to achieve measurable business results. 
  • Attain annual sales quotas through generating proposals, negotiating, and closing deals.  
  • Focus on selling and cross-selling new business products while retaining existing business and building broker relationships.  
  • Facilitate employee enrollment meetings and provide internal sales training as needed.  
  • Create strategic business plans, develop influential industry relationships, and stay informed on market trends and regulatory changes. 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Obtain licensed agent/producer status within 90 days and meet ongoing continuing education requirements.  
  • Deep understanding of group insurance products, marketing techniques, underwriting processes, and claims.  
  • Familiarity with competitor products and access to reliable transportation for meetings and travel within the territory.  
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% with a valid driver’s license.

  • Ability to work at our home office located in Novi, MI in a hybrid environment. 

PREFERRED:

  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales quotas with strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
