Training Details
  • Start Date: Thursday March 12th
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST (for up to 6 weeks)
    • Please note: No time off is accommodated during training.
After Training
  • Schedule continues Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST
  • Flexibility is key as business hours may change

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Engage with Customers: Make outbound calls to policyholders, prospects, and customers, building rapport and identifying tailored insurance solutions.
  • Drive Sales Results: Conduct needs-based discovery conversations to offer the right solutions, submit applications over the phone, and close sales.
  • Problem Solve: Handle inquiries, objections, and challenges with professionalism, delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date on policy provisions, rates, and marketing campaigns to effectively meet customer needs.
  • Exceed Goals: Achieve and surpass established targets by following best practices and continuously improving sales technique

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Licensing Requirement: Obtain and maintain insurance licenses: Must have, or be able to secure, life, health, and accident insurance licenses within the first 90 days of employment if not already held. Mutual of Omaha will cover licensing test costs for up to three attempts.
  • Strong customer interaction and sales skills: Experience in sales environments, with excellent customer communication. Ability to overcome objections while focusing on meeting customer needs.
  • Flexibility: Regular and predictable attendance with the flexibility to adjust to various schedules as needed. Open to a test-and-learn environment and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, results-driven setting
  • Proficient in computer skills: Comfortable multitasking with software. Ability to set up and troubleshoot equipment as needed for a remote work environment.
  • Strong problem solving and time management skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve desired goals.
  • This position will require you to provide your own high speed internet connection with 50 megabits per second is required and 150 megabits is recommended for best results. Your Internet provider-supplied device must be hard-wired to a router and/or computer.

  • Ability to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and in a listed location.

 

PREFERRED:

  • Currently possess insurance license(s) in Life and Health
  • Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed monthly performance targets in an outbound sales position
  • Prior insurance sales experience, including in depth understanding of insurance products, descriptions and policy language
