Mutual of Omaha is hiring a dynamic IT Manager to join our Machine Identity Management & Identity Enablement team. This role will manage a team that oversees the design, development, implementation and maintenance of MIM technologies that enable Engineers to leverage identity services at Mutual of Omaha. This IT Manager will have the opportunity to stand up a team that will build, deliver, enhance, and maintain a new Identity API product. Estimated Salary: $130,000 - $165,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
-
Build and lead a team responsible for the development of a new Identity API product, as well as provide and support capabilities that enable Engineers to efficiently and effectively leverage security identity management, including privileged access management (PAM), secrets management, and certificate management technologies.

Develop talent and build a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive team by hiring top talent, fostering growth opportunities, and promoting continuous skill development in engineering, leadership, and business acumen. Effectively manage associates to meet technical, functional, and behavioral expectations.

Foster a positive team culture where associates feel valued, respected, and connected by championing Mutual of Omaha’s core values and promoting self-directed, motivated teams.

Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement by championing SAFe Agile principles and leveraging Organizational Change Management.

Maintain strong collaborative working relationships with IS and business partners to ensure business needs are met.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
-
5+ years of experience in a technical or HR leadership role within Identity & Access Management or Software Engineering.

Experience leading the development of new software or services, including leveraging the latest identity technologies and best practices.

A product ownership mindset with a broad knowledge across IT and business domains.

Experience with change management including developing and implementing change plans and managing the impact of change on the business.

Excellent communication and strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh relative costs and benefits and identify the most appropriate choice.

Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or related field.

An ability to effectively influence others to modify their opinions, plans or behaviors.
