As a Compensation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing compensation strategies that support talent attraction and retention and align with organizational goals. In this dynamic position, you will utilize your analytical expertise and in-depth understanding of compensation principles to provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations. Your technical skills, combined with strong business acumen and effective communication, will empower you to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver compensation solutions that drive results and support overall business success.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications):
    • Senior HR Specialist:$76,000-$97,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
    • HR Consultant: $100,000-$125,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Analyze compensation and competitive data, including market benchmarks and internal factors, to set pay levels, evaluate equity and competitiveness and support total rewards programs.
  • Manage salary survey data, ensuring timely submission and organization to maintain accurate compensation benchmarks.
  • Utilize data modeling and analytics to assess the effectiveness of compensation programs and provide data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Design and present dashboards, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, including executives and HR leaders, to drive informed decision-making.
  • Support the design, implementation, communication and administration of deferred compensation, incentive, pay, and recognition programs that attract and retain talent while ensuring compliance with compensation-related regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support on compensation-related matters to management and employees.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Previous experience as an HR Compensation Specialist preferably with a Total Rewards background and CCP designation or willingness to obtain designation.
  • Executive compensation background.
  • Strong written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Workday HCM, and data analysis tools (e.g., Visier).
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and able to work both independently and in teams.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • IT/IS, Sales, and executive compensation experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial reports and insurance business processes and jobs.
  • Experience with insurance sales incentive/commission plan designs.
  • CBP or CEBS designation.
