The Business Intelligence Analyst supports the development and delivery of data and reporting solutions for Institutional Annuities/Investments and Special Risk product lines. This role collaborates with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring solutions align with operational and strategic objectives. Serving as a liaison between business units and technical teams, the analyst translates business needs into actionable technical specifications and supports application development throughout the project lifecycle.  

The position also contributes to the design of reporting frameworks, performs analytical and trend analysis, and works closely with BI developers, data scientists, and engineers to enhance reporting accuracy and resolve issues. Additionally, the analyst assists in designing, testing, and implementing reporting tools and data integration efforts to support AI initiatives within the Data Analytics and Reporting Team (DART).

  • Estimated Salary: $75,000-$86,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document data and reporting requirements. 
  • Design, implement, and optimize data workflows and reporting solutions to support strategic decision-making. 
  • Conduct data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting system or report issues to ensure data integrity. 
  • Build data visualization dashboards, reports, and perform trend/exploratory data analysis  
  • Serve as the primary BI Analyst for artificial intelligence data initiatives for the division 
  • Lead or support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and post-implementation support for analytics solutions. 
  • Background in SQL programming language, Tableau, Sigma, or similar data visual tools. 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Working knowledge of test and process automation. 
  • 2+ years of experience in business systems or data analysis, with exposure to data analytics or reporting environments. 
  • 2+ years of business analysis experience in a SAFe/Agile environment, with strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and business/technical processes. 
  • Proficiency in SQL coding language and familiarity with BI tools. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to translate business needs into technical solutions. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to work remotely with access to high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico. 

PREFERRED:

  • Technical understanding and ability to perform SQL queries to pull data to support business testing. 
  • Manage and enhance reporting tools (e.g., Sigma, Tableau and or SQL-based dashboards), ensuring alignment with business objectives. 
  • Fundamental understanding in Generative AI, Agentic AI and or Advanced AI-driven insights.  
  • SQL and Python background is a plus.
