Mutual of Omaha is seeking an experienced Engineer proficient in Salesforce application development and preferred MuleSoft integration experience. In this role, you will define, develop, implement, efficient Salesforce solutions using Guided Flows, Apex, and other declarative tools and support API integrations with Third-Party Benefit Administrators using an API and Event architecture. Your work will enhance user interactions with our products, optimize business partner support, and drive innovative technology adoption. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate business processes, enhance our frontline associate experience, and ensure platform best practices. WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

Estimated Compensation (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications)

Engineer I: $95,000 - $115,000, plus annual bonus opportunity

Engineer II: $115,000 - $130,000, plus annual bonus opportunity

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
-
Perform multiple roles and responsibilities: Uses models to design and develop new or enhanced business technologies, evaluates options, and performs trade-off analyses. Can take on roles such as an individual contributor, lead, teacher, or mentor.

Design and development expertise: Creates, reuses, and experiments with designs and design artifacts. Apply software engineering principles to infrastructure and operations, focusing on automation and self-healing.

Adherence to best practices: Actively follows the software development lifecycle and DevOps practices while experimenting with emerging technologies to anticipate future impacts.

Application and systems support: Responsible for the development, maintenance, testing, and integration of applications and systems that support business operations.

Solution design and customization: Participates in designing new solutions aligned with Target Architecture principles, focusing on customer experience and product mindset. Develops custom components, triggers, and pages using APEX, Aura, LWC, and guided flows.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

Experienced in Salesforce Flow design and Apex Programming

Strong knowledge of the Sales Force Service Cloud module and experience with email to case logic.

Design and execute customized solutions leveraging the SFDC toolset utilizing best practices.

Maintain and enhance quality of systems and data through effective design, maintenance, and security in the Salesforce.com instances.

Integration of Salesforce with various systems through APIs.

Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
PREFERRED:

You have experience with implementing and maintaining a Salesforce CRM application.

You have a working knowledge of APIs and system-to-system integrations, as well has familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs systems and have developed and maintained MuleSoft APIs.
