Mutual of Omaha is seeking a motivated self-starter who will manage individual compensation programs for our producers. In this role you will ensure accurate payments are made on time while building strong relationships through outstanding customer service and communication.   • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications):
      • Sales Compensation Analyst II: $22.00 - $24.00 (Hourly Wage), plus annual bonus opportunity.
      • Sales Compensation Analyst III: $25.00 - $27.00 (Hourly Wage), plus annual bonus opportunity.
      • Sales Compensation Analyst IV: $55,000 - $60,000 (Annual Salary), plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

  • Administer compensation calculations according to assigned schedules and ensure accurate, timely payments, following guidelines and contracts.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, handle complaints or errors positively and efficiently, and maintain strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Utilize office tools and systems to support compensation processes, update databases, and assist with administrative tasks and projects.
  • Provide SME support, process compensation information, and analyze data, ensuring compliance with contract provisions and regulations.
  • Analyze program changes, monitor compliance, and work with teams to resolve issues, ensuring consistent application of state/federal laws and corporate guidelines.


  • Work experience or education related to accounting or finance including experience with Microsoft Excel (Ex: V or X-lookups, if/then statements).
  • Analytical and decision-making skills including high attention to detail, effective communication (verbal and written), and time management.
  • Adept at independent problem solving, including the ability to work with evolving technology.
  • Strong self-sufficiency with demonstrated experience managing assigned work and meeting deadlines while remaining flexible to changing needs.
  • Experience working back to root cause to optimize processes, building new standard operating procedures, and ensuring results are measured and reported.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.


  • Professional experience with compensation and/or a background in accounting.
  • Proven experience building strong relationships and collaborating across teams.
  • Leadership experience and influencing others.
