We're seeking a Business Learning Specialist or Sr. Business Learning Specialist to elevate our team through impactful learning experiences. Your role involves crafting a supportive atmosphere and implementing engaging activities for effective knowledge retention.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications) 
    • Business Learning Specialist: $22.00 - $27.88 per hour plus annual bonus opportunity.
    • Sr. Business Learning Specialist:  $56,150 - $72,810 plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Remote opportunity.
  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 9 paid holidays in 2023.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 56 hours of personal time in 2023, prorated based on the start date.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Training Facilitator: Deliver targeted training sessions to staff, ensuring a conducive learning environment and assisting our associates with improving and enhancing their existing skills.
  • Creative Design Expert: Showcase creativity by designing and updating training materials with diverse learning elements for maximum effectiveness.
  • Performance Support Specialist: Address performance issues, conduct quality assurance checks, and foster a supportive adult learning environment for our training participants.
  • Records Management: Maintain accurate training records, identify areas for improvement, and recommend enhancements to our curriculum.
  • Trusted Consultant:  Consult with business operational areas on process changes, curriculum, learner experience and other critical matters.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Demonstrated Experience:  A background in instructional design, curriculum development, training, or related fields will be crucial to your success.
  • System Proficiency: Deep knowledge of presentation tools including PowerPoint, MS Word and Excel, as well as proficiency in business processes and work procedures.
  • Presentation Excellence: Exceptional presentation skills, creating engaging materials that captivate and educate.
  • Effective Communication and Leadership Acumen: Ability to lead discussions, provide feedback, and shift conversations as needed to convey information clearly and professionally, and showcase effective human relations skills to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Decision-making Expertise: Demonstrate sound judgment, organizational abilities, and analytical skills to navigate complex situations.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

VALUABLE EXPERIENCE:

  • Training Development Experience: Preferred experience in developing and delivering high-quality training materials and activities.
  • Product Knowledge:  Familiarity with insurance products
  • Adult Learning Certification: Association for Talent Development (ATD) certification or other instructional design or talent development certifications.
