INSPIRED BY WILD KINGDOM | TY SMEDES

As a nature and wildlife photographer, I've been very fortunate to photograph all around the midwest, and in particular, many countries of the world.

And one of the things that inspired me most was Marlin Perkins and Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. I can remember growing up with that. I can remember their adventures in many different countries and many different things that he did with one of his assistants, Stan Brock.

And again, one of those things that inspired me to go on and be a nature photographer and travel the world, and I'll always have fond memories of Wild Kingdom and Mutual of Omaha.
