The Panthers of Florida

Though still endangered, these panthers have made a great return since the 1970s and 1980s when fewer than 30 were believed to be in existence. Thanks to increasing numbers, we can study their habits and learn how humans and panthers can live in harmony.

Check out these amazing photos from our friends at the fStop Foundation. You can learn more about fStop and their conservation efforts on their website: fstopfoundation.org.  We’ll also have more on Florida panther conservation in our new series, Protecting the Wild, coming out January 2023.

Looking For More on Panthers?

Can’t get enough? Learn more about panthers from Naturalist David Mizejewski and Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom host Peter Gros.
