WILD KINGDOM EARNS 4 DAYTIME EMMY® NOMINATIONS

Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Protecting the Wild has been nominated for four Daytime Emmy® Awards in the following categories:

  • Travel, Adventure and Nature Program
  • Writing Team for a Daytime Non-Fiction Program
  • Directing Team for a Single Camera Daytime Non-fiction Program
  • Outstanding Music Direction

Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Protecting the Wild showcases wildlife success stories across the United States. Co-Hosted by Peter Gros and Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant, this series inspires the next generation of conservationists through captivating storytelling and stunning cinematography.

Through Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Protecting the Wild, the legacy of Marlin Perkins, Jim Fowler and all of the Wild Kingdom family lives on in each story we tell. Wild Kingdom’s continued goal is to be a valuable resource for individuals seeking to learn more about animals and wildlife stewardship, just as it has been doing since 1963. The original series, Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom, was recognized with four Emmy® Awards from 1965 to 1970.
