A quarterly newsletter for our Medicare supplement policyholders
A New Year signifies so much more than just another day. It represents a new start, a turning of the page to say. And while I can’t say that I can recall a New Year I’ve welcomed nearly as much as 2021, I can say that I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share e-News with you.
I hope this year brings you and your loved ones good health and fortunes.
Stay safe, Dr. Manoj Pawar Chief Medical Officer
COVID-19 Vaccine News
As the U.S. government and pharmaceutical companies race to inoculate the country’s 250+ million adults, it’s important to get up-to-date, trustworthy information. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) answers many of your vaccination questions, including vaccine distribution and availability. Mutual of Omaha has a COVID-19 information page for your reference as well.
Your Medicare supplement gives you access to Mutual Cares, our free online resource designed to help keep your mind and body active and your spirits up. There, you'll find everything from fitness classes to a self-assessment measuring your risk for loneliness (and where to find help) to smile-makers. Sign up for emails about new resources, too.

Take care of your teeth. Take care of your heart.
Research has shown there are connections between good oral health and good heart health. For older adults, this can be especially important since the risk for heart disease increases with age. So if you’re looking to stay as healthy as you can, a dental policy may help. Our Planning and Advice Center has tips on how to pick a dental plan that’s right for you. Check it out here.
