Mazzotta Promoted at Mutual of Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. (April 5, 2021) – Liz Mazzotta has been promoted to Chief Administrative Officer at Mutual of Omaha. She oversees Corporate Operations, which includes the following key corporate functions: Brand Management, Business Resiliency, Policyowner Services, Corporate Services, Human Resources, Social Impact, Diversity Equity & Inclusion, and Community Affairs.  

Mazzotta is part of Mutual of Omaha’s Diversity and Inclusion Action Group, as well as a member of the Operational Risk Oversight Committee, the Emerging Risk Committee, Tech Modernization Steering Committee, and the Executive Leadership Team.  

Mazzotta joined Mutual of Omaha in 1998 as First Vice President of Corporate Learning. She was promoted to Vice President of Human Resources in 1999 and then Chief Human Resources Officer in 2015, a position she held until she assumed her current role as Chief Administrative Officer.  

Mazzotta received a bachelor’s degree from Creighton University and a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is a graduate of Leadership Omaha, a program affiliated with the Omaha Area Chamber of Commerce, and has received the industry designation, Senior Professional Human Resources from the Society of Human Resources Management.  

Mazzotta has served as the Chairman of the Board of the Goodwill Board of Directors and on the Board of Directors of the Equal Employment Advisory Council. She is a past President of the American Society of Training and Development, former Chair of the Urban League of Nebraska Board of Directors and was a Board member of the Metropolitan Community College Foundation. Mazzotta served on the Executive Committee of the Brownell Talbot School Board of Trustees. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Siena Francis House.
