Arellano Appointed at Mutual of Omaha
OMAHA, Neb. (Feb. 15, 2022) – Christina Arellano has been appointed Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Mutual of Omaha. She handles the oversight of diversity, equity and inclusion strategies and implementation in collaboration with Mutual’s Social Impact Team and other stakeholders.
Arellano joined Mutual of Omaha as a vice president in 2022. Before joining Mutual, she was the Inclusion and Diversity Experience Ambassador at Signature Performance, Inc.
Arellano holds a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University. She also holds Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace and Inclusive and Ethical Leadership Certificates from the University of South Florida MUMA College of Business.
Arellano is vice-chairperson for the City of Omaha LGBTQ+ Advisory Board, the incoming chairperson for the Omaha Community Foundation-Equality Fund and an advocate for the Omaha Refugee Task Force. She was named to the 2021 Top 100 DEI Leaders list by Mogul, a global human resources and recruitment organization.
