Once you know your policy is effective, you may begin using your Medicare supplement insurance. Show your health care providers your Medicare and Medicare supplement cards when you arrive. Most providers will submit your claims for you so you don’t have any insurance paperwork to complete. In many cases, you can sign up to receive emails when your explanations of benefits are available on the company’s website.
