Underwriting Internships

Would you like a summer internship that produces real value for a company? Through Mutual of Omaha’s Underwriting internship program, you’ll play an important role in determining who our company insures and on what terms. If you are majoring in a field related to Finance, Economics, Math, Actuarial Science, Risk Management or Business Administration, then consider an internship at Mutual of Omaha.

Recruiting process:

Recruiting for internships at Mutual of Omaha takes place on select university campuses from September through January of each year. Check to see where Mutual will participate in career fairs in your area this year.

Internship guidelines:

  • 3.00 GPA or higher
  • Finance, Economics, Math, Actuarial Science, Risk Management and Business Administration majors
  • Junior status preferred

Length of internship: 12 weeks, May-August
Hours per week: Full-time (38.75)
Compensation: Competitive
