As an intern, you’ll have opportunities to connect with professionals and interns across the company through a variety of networking and teambuilding activities. Interns participate in career development events to build business acumen, self-awareness and professionalism. There are also opportunities to learn from executives about how they developed themselves to become the company’s leaders.
In addition to real world experience, you’ll have opportunities to participate in a variety of events and activities. There are opportunities to volunteer with community organizations like Habitat for Humanity or join in on activities through the Omaha Chamber of Commerce. In the past, interns have also had the opportunity to participate in the College World Series, Jazz on the Green and paintball.

Recruiting Process
Recruiting for internships at Mutual of Omaha takes place on select university campuses from September through January of each year. Check to see where Mutual will participate in career fairs this year.

Qualification Requirements
To qualify as an intern, students must:
- Be in good academic standing and a full time student
- Have completed their sophomore or junior year
- Be enrolled in a relevant bachelor's or graduate degree program
- Meet minimum qualifications and requirements of the position
- Be authorized to work in the United States
