Actuarial Internships

Has anyone said you're good with numbers? Mutual of Omaha's Actuarial internship program is about numbers and a whole lot more. If you're an actuarial science, math, statistics, economics and/or computer science major and want to work side by side with professionals from a top tier company, then consider Mutual of Omaha.

Here's what's in it for you:

  • Hands-on experience analyzing and tracking financial results
  • Exposure to product development and mortality/morbidity issues
  • Challenging work centered around insurance premiums and expenses
  • A chance to work with committees to brainstorm and share ideas and see what goes on behind the scenes at a major insurance company

Mutual's actuarial internship program is one of the most developed in the region. Our interns are able to learn valuable skills and connect with employees and managers throughout the company, helping them to potentially build a future career at the company.

So, what does an Actuary do?
