Funding Agreement

A Funding Agreement is a conservative, fixed income product for investors seeking a stream of predictable fixed payments at a defined future date. The Funding Agreement product is quite similar to a GIC and may be issued to non-tax-qualified institutional investors.

Funding Agreements offer a fixed term of investment and competitive fixed interest rates or indexed interest rates based on the one- or three-month London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR) plus or minus a basis point spread determined at the time of purchase.
