Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Adventure Tour
Hits the Road for Third Year
OMAHA, Neb. – May 25, 2007 – The Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom Adventure Tour, a unique interactive experience that conveys the excitement of the Wild Kingdom, will make its way to fairs and festivals throughout the country for a third year beginning in July.
Traveling the country in several distinctive semitrailer trucks, the Wild Kingdom Adventure Tour is a 75-foot by 75-foot multifaceted experience that promises to be a hit at the eight fairs and festivals it will visit this year.
“Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Adventure Tour is a show-stopper – an exciting, interactive and fun experience that’s free for everyone,” said Mutual of Omaha Senior Vice President John Hildenbiddle. “We are thrilled to bring the adventure and excitement of the Wild Kingdom to people all across the country, renewing our bond with those who grew up with Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom while introducing the excitement of the Wild Kingdom to new generations.”
Highlights of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom Adventure Tour include:
- Experiencing the sights, sounds and scents of three vastly different habitats - the tropical rainforest, the African savanna and ice-bound Polar regions - featuring life-like animatronic animals, realistic foliage and a few surprises.
- Hands-on activities for young adventurers.
- An air-conditioned theater featuring exciting moments from current Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom episodes airing on the Animal Planet network.
- A unique tribute to the original Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom and to legendary host Marlin Perkins, who appears via new technology to welcome visitors.
- An instant win game in which everyone takes home a prize.
The Wild Kingdom Adventure Tour will make its first stop in 2007 at the Taste of Buffalo in Lancaster, N.Y., July 6-9, and will visit seven other states in this year, wrapping up its tour in November.
